Existing Patients
Each dentist has their own emergency appointment slots in their diary. If you are having pain and your regular dentist is not available you may be asked to be booked in with another dentist at the practice.
An emergency appointment will be used to assess, diagnose, and temporarily fix the problem- you will then be asked to rebook for the full treatment. This is because we cannot be sure what treatment you will need, and how long the appointment will take.

In an emergency, on bank holiday's and outside of our normal opening times, patients can call NHS 111 for advice.
A private service is also available at 'The 24/7 Dentist' in Wolverhampton on 03301759995, and the Scott Arms Dental Practice 9:00am and 11:00pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year on 0121 357 5000.
Denplan patients with Supplementary Insurance coverage that are more than 40 miles away from the practice can call the Denplan Helpline on 0800 844 999 or if overseas can contact +44 1962 844999.

New Patients
We are currently unable to offer emergency slots to new patients. If you are experiencing pain, swelling, or trauma following an accident, you can contact 111, or contact the Scott Arms Dental Practice as above.
